Had a surprise visit in Minneapolis airport with family!
After our Friday was spent exploring San Francisco, we spent the night in the airport and seemingly arrived to Minneapolis faster because of our exhaustion. After walking the entire span of the airport we found out our flight home was overbooked…what does this mean? Delta flight miles, for next trip to Cali and a few hours outside the airport with our cousins. We are now an hour and a half away from flying back to GR as tired as expected and ready for home.
San Francisco was incredible–especially since the day was blessed with blue skies and sunshine.
A ferry ride to the financial district, a walk to coit tower, overcoming the hills of the city, all-the-while being fascinated by the architecture. We hit up a happy hour down on the wharf where we got half off appetizers–crab, shrimp, clam chowder, calamari and scallops. Their crab nachos were delish and paired up great with a glass of Anchor Steam.
Golden gate park, haight-ashbury district, and beautiful views of the bridge were all in our day as well.
We walked the street down to get to where we jump on the BART to get to the San Francisco airport. While walking we got chocolates at Ghirardelli, saw many cafes, heard live music and checked out various unique shoppes.
Get to San Fran if you can.
