The Door

I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We’re on our knees
We’re on our knees

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me

Break my heart from what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdoms cause
As I go from nothing to

[Chorus x2]

Hosanna in the highest

This song really touched my life when I first heard it, and it still stirs up my love for Christ.

This past Saturday, I sang it with Sanna and two other people, to lead the youth group in worship (this song was new to most). We sang it in Spanish and it amazed me how it still touched my life almost the same. For the first time I realized that if my heart is open to God’s holy presence, that it doesn’t matter what language the worship song is in, or how melodic the music is…God is there; He is present wherever two or more are.

Some days, when I hear this song, I feel like having my own Bible study, worship service, and prayer time. And how wonderful it is, that I have written down the Spanish lyrics, with chords, so that I can play it on guitar at a young girls bible group tomorrow after school.

I love it when the Lord directs my attention to a door to strengthen our relationship.

This song; it’s the door right now.

Look it up and listen to it, I hope it effects you as greatly as it does me.
